One Excellence English Hub is based at St. Michael’s Church of England Primary School, Bishop Middleham. We are proud to be one of the 34 DfE approved English Hubs, supporting schools to strengthen early language and literacy provision.
St. Michael’s is an outstanding primary school, with a strong commitment to early literacy and inclusive, high-quality teaching. As a National Support School, we have extensive experience in delivering impactful professional development and bespoke support to drive sustained school improvement.
We are passionate about reading and about teaching children to read fluently, confidently and for enjoyment, ensuring every child has the foundations they need to succeed.
